Millicent graduated from the University of Sierra Leone with a Bachelor of Arts degree before pursuing a law degree from the University of London. She was called to the Sierra Leone Bar Association in 2004. She has a well-developed legal portfolio comprising Civil and Corporate law, International Arbitration, Mergers and Acquisitions, Corporate and Regulatory compliance, Civil Litigation, Banking, and Energy and Mining law. Millicent's extensive legal experience includes working with a variety of clients on a wide range of legal transactions. This, coupled with her excellent communication skills, enables her to maintain a uniquely individual and targeted approach to deliver consistent value to her clients. Moreover, Millicent understands the regulatory and compliance aspects of Telecoms, Mining and Finance law, which equips her with the necessary professional knowledge to provide excellent and experienced counsel to clients in the region and internationally. She is a member of the Sierra Leone Bar Association, The International Bar Association, and the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators.

Rakiatu is a highly regarded legal practitioner with over four years of comprehensive experience in commercial and corporate law consultancy. Her expertise encompasses legal drafting, business and company registration, trademark registration, legal research, and opinion writing.
She offers legal advisory services to both local and foreign companies, specialising in legal, regulatory, and tax compliance across diverse industries, including mining, energy, banking and finance, and water and environmental protection.
In addition to her consultancy work, Rakiatu possesses substantial litigation experience, managing civil cases in both the Magistrates' Court and the Superior Courts of Judicature. Her litigation practice covers a wide range of issues, including business and company registration, share transfers, trademark registrations, divorce, adoption, child custody, legal drafting, alternative dispute resolution (ADR), arbitration-related applications, negotiations, and real estate transactions. Furthermore, she has acted as a legal adviser and secretary to the boards of several new companies, a foundation, and small enterprises.
Rakiatu has also collaborated with international law firms to conduct research and create opinions, reports, and publications on various topics. Her notable contributions include discussions on divorce law in Sierra Leone, corporate finance, governance, compliance, employment law, and remote work in Sierra Leone, with the latter highlighted in the Africa Remote Working Guide.
